Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vox Issue — the iPhone, iPad and Mac app and the Chrome browser extension — and the voxissue.com website, provided by Tiny Electrons LLC ("we", "us"). By using Vox Issue or buying a license you agree to these Terms.

The service

Vox Issue captures screenshots of your web app, lets you annotate and describe them, and files them as issues in GitHub repositories you control. It is offered as an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and as a Chrome extension. Features and availability may change.

Purchasing a license (Chrome extension)

The Vox Issue Chrome extension is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, and there is nothing to cancel or renew. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. When your payment succeeds we issue you a license key, shown to you immediately after checkout and also sent to the email address you provide.

The license we grant you is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the extension, subject to these Terms. It permits activation on a limited number of installs, as described at purchase; you may not resell, sublicense, or share your license key. We may deactivate a license that is shared or used in breach of these Terms.

Refunds

Because the Vox Issue extension is a one-time digital purchase that gives you your license key and full functionality immediately, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except where a refund is required by law or expressly stated below.

• Statutory rights (EU/EEA/UK and similar). If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, that right applies — but by purchasing and activating your license key you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once we have supplied the license key and you have begun using it, your right to withdraw is lost to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer.
• Something genuinely broken. If the extension does not work as described and we cannot resolve it for you, contact us — we will work with you in good faith and may, at our discretion, issue a refund.
• Duplicate or erroneous charges. We will refund a clear duplicate or mistaken charge.

To request a refund or raise a billing problem, email billing@voxissue.com from the address used at purchase, with your license key or Stripe receipt, before disputing the charge with your bank.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a bank chargeback or payment dispute, the license associated with that payment may be deactivated. Please contact us first — most billing issues are resolved faster by email than through a dispute.

Your accounts & credentials

You are responsible for the GitHub account and access token you connect, and for the content you file. Keep your token secure; you can revoke it in GitHub at any time. You must have the right to capture and file the material you process with Vox Issue.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Vox Issue to violate any law or the rights of others.
• Don't capture or upload content you have no right to use.
• Don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.

Intellectual property

Vox Issue, its logo, and its software are owned by Tiny Electrons LLC. The Vox Issue SDK is provided under the license stated in its repository. You retain all rights to the content you create and file.

Third-party services

Vox Issue works with GitHub and other services you connect. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimer & liability

Vox Issue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Electrons LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or issues arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
